AV Control System Programmer
(Greensboro / Raleigh / Durham, NC)
ClarkPowell is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to write and implement programming code for audiovisual control systems. The position has responsibility for assisting sales and technical operations staff with pre and post-sales control system design, graphical user interface development, software implementation, end user training and the drafting of customer user guides. The successful applicant will split their time between writing code in our offices or from home, and then travel to site to load the code and test / commission the systems. This is not a remote working opportunity.
Key Position requirements are:
3+ years of experience in programming commercial AV systems, using Crestron Toolbox and other software tools
Proficiency in Crestron Simpl Windows and Simpl+
Proficiency in Crestron Studio
Proficiency in Crestron Smart Graphics
Proficiency in Crestron Fusion programming and implementation
Possess a good working knowledge of Cresnet
Possess a good working knowledge of DigitalMedia systems and Crestron NVX
Ability to generate detailed control system diagrams and graphical user interfaces for customer review and approval
Must possess advanced system trouble shooting skills
Possess a good working knowledge of DSP and AV matrix systems setup and configuration (BiAmp, QSC)
Possess a good working knowledge of videoconference systems setup and configuration (Poly.com / Cisco)
Crestron certified or willingness to obtain
This position requires regional travel in North and South Carolina. Must have valid NC/SC driver’s license.
AudioVisual Lead Technician
Charlotte, NC / Winston-Salem, NC
ClarkPowell is looking for a highly skilled team player able to lead crews on the installation of professional audiovisual equipment. Must have a professional manner with excellent communication skills, and take pride in your work.
This position requires working closely with project managers, general contractors, sub contractors and our clients to complete the project to a high-quality, on time and within budget.
Key Position requirements are:
Minimum 2 years experience in a Lead position managing installation teams
Minimum 5 years experience in AV installation
Must be self-motivated and able to work under minimum supervision
Ability to read and implement Electronic CAD designs
Ability to read building blue prints
Ability to motivate and manage staff and subcontractors
High standard of workmanship on cabling, lacing, soldering and crimping
Ability to test completed systems fully for both engineering specifications and operational functionality
Videoconference installation and configuration experience a plus
AVIXA CTS, CTS-I certified a plus
OSHA 10 or 30 certified a plus
This position require regional travel in North and South Carolina and relocation assistance is available.
