When the company relocated to a new downtown office, the goal was to create a modern workplace that supports seamless collaboration across teams and locations. ClarkPowell was brought in early in the process, enabling a true design-build approach where technology strategy and workplace design were developed together.

Topsail Re needed a collaboration environment that would:
- Support a Microsoft Teams workflow
- Deliver consistent user experiences across multiple offices
- Be simple to manage and easy to use
- Integrate seamlessly into a modern, design-forward workspace
- Provide speech privacy and reduce distractions in open areas

By engaging ClarkPowell early, Topsail Re was able to build a technology roadmap alongside the architectural design, setting the foundation for better outcomes from the start. The project required tight coordination between multiple trades, including the general contractor, architect, and the glass wall manufacturer DIRTT.
In the boardroom, maintaining a sleek, modern aesthetic was just as important as performance, leading to a custom solution that mounted the display behind a glass wall while incorporating a magnetic access panel for serviceability. The result preserved a clean, uninterrupted design without sacrificing functionality. To support this strategy, ClarkPowell implemented a Yealink video conferencing ecosystem throughout the space, including cameras, microphones, and speakers. Yealink’s ecosystem allows ClarkPowell to integrate audio cleanly within drop-ceiling environments to deliver strong performance and a better user experience.
Sound Masking
To enhance the workplace environment, Topsail Re decided to implement Biamp Cambridge Sound Masking.
This was driven by two critical needs:
