Leadership History
​

ClarkPowell was founded by Read Clark, Don Norwood & David Powell in 1983. They saw the need for a company to offer exceptional service & superior value to AV profesionals throughout the Carolinas.

Stephanie Clark, Read's daughter,  joined the company almost from the beginning and took over the Presidency in 2010. Stephanie led with wisdom, sensibility and was dedicated to the success of ClarkPowell. 

With a Marine Corps background and a dedication to hard work, Read Clark was an excellent leader. He became President in 1983 and took great pride in the company and all of the employees.

Susan Pinch, daughter of founder Read Clark, joined the company in 1995 and took over as President in 2016. Susan retired in 2023 with a plan for her successors to cary on the ClarkPowell legacy. 

The new management team took over the leadership in 2023:
