ClarkPowell Connects More Than 100 Learning Spaces Across UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School
When the University of North Carolina expanded its business education facilities with a new building, Steven D. Bell Hall, it needed audiovisual systems that would perform consistently across more than 100 rooms. The new technology also needed to integrate seamlessly with the existing network infrastructure while remaining easy for professors and staff to use without dedicated classroom support.
The building’s AV infrastructure was built around Crestron AV over IP, connecting classrooms and devices across UNC Kenan-Flagler’s existing network. This allows the AV team to centrally monitor systems while creating a scalable foundation for future growth. With products from approximately 28 manufacturers integrated, the key challenge was ensuring reliable performance across the university’s network. |
